The Pigcawayan District jail held its Livelihood Training Program as part of its advocacy to the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) reformation. Spearheaded by jail warden JINSP FERDINAND D SUELAN and training instructor of Chili Garlic Sauce, Ginger – Salabat, Pickled Papaya – Making, Salted Egg and Coffee Barako Production last March 2-5. The training was attended by 15 PDL who are willing to learn for their upliftment and enhance their eventual reintegration skills into society.
Most of the PDL were enthusiastic and determined to learn, some had a hard time, but most of them tried their best despite its 3-day training.
The said livelihood program was made possible through the Pigcawayan District Jail personnel’s untiring efforts and the passion and determination to help the jail warden.
